  1. How long do I need to freeze the blocks?
    The freezing time for each block recipe is different and it varies on the type of freezer you have. We will often leave the blocks overnight to freeze.
  1. I get spillage when transferring the trays into the freezer?
    We recommend using a glass or plastic chopping board to transfer the trays. We even leave the boards in the freezer. You can also use your pastry packets to place in between trays if you are making double quantities.
  1. Do I need to defrost the blocks before I start cooking my recipe?
    It depends on the recipe. It will become a personal preference on how you cook with the blocks. You may choose to quickly defrost the blocks in the microwave just prior to cooking the recipe or cook the blocks in the cooking process.
  1. Do I fill up to the top of the muffin holes in the tray? 
    The recipes are based on the blocks being filled to the top of the muffin holes.
  1. Will it matter if I have more or less blocks than the block recipe suggests?
    Depending on the heat used and the cooking time, the liquid content will vary, therefore producing more or less blocks, especially if you are making double the quantity. This will not affect the results of the recipe. As the recipes are flexible you can add more or less blocks depending on your taste or requirements.
  1. Where can I purchase more trays?
    Live It™ Trays in Red are exclusive to Big W and are available in all Big W Stores nationally. Alternatively you can purchase the Green Trays from our website.
  1. How do I wash my tray?
    Full Care & Use instructions are on the packaging, but hand washing with hot soapy water will do the job.
